Graduate Council

The Dean of Graduate Education, Dr. Juan E. González, is the academic officer responsible for coordinating support for the graduate programs of the University and for implementing the policies of the University in regard to graduate education. The Graduate Council functions as an executive committee to advise and assist the Dean. The members of the Graduate Council are representatives for graduate studies in each of the schools in the university or a representative appointed by the school dean. The Graduate Council will make recommendations on academic procedures and policies consistent with recommendation of Academic Senate, graduate catalog revisions of existing and new graduate programs, as well as numerous other matters that pertain to graduate affairs. For more information, refer to UTDPP1053: Council on Graduate Education.
