One of the most dynamic engineering schools in the U.S. today, the Jonsson School boasts 160 faculty researchers and over $50 million in annual research funding. The School offers extensive laboratory facilities, including the new 220,000-square-foot Bioengineering and Sciences Building and the $85 million Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory that houses engineers, physicists, chemists, and microbiologists all under one roof. Led by faculty members with industry experience and innovative research programs, graduate students are prepared for careers in various fields, whether in a corporate or academic setting. Students also have many internship opportunities while pursuing a graduate degree.
